Welcome to the Athens Radio Club's - ARC POTA Sprint - May 4th, 2024

 Who? All club members, and anyone else who wants to check out POTA activations are invited to participate. 

The plan is to have ARC members in 5 nearby Parks on the Air sites, setup for operation for most of the day, so other ARC members (or local/regional POTA folks) can drive from park to park and get multiple activations and to allow hunters an opportunity to hunt all 5 parks for a special event clean sweep.

When? Saturday May 4th from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Talk-in and overall coordination will be done on 146.550 FM Simplex. Use the 145.330 (-) PL 123.0 repeater while moving between parks. AC4SH Claude Ray will rove between parks and serve as a back-up activator if needed. .

Roll the dice at each park and best overall score wins a prize. Anyone attending regardless of license status, can participate. Must make 10 contacts at the the park to get a roll of the dice. Scores will be consolidated and a prize will be award to the best count.
