2026 Joining and Membership

The dues for membership in the Athens Radio Club range from as little as $15.00 to just $35.00 a year, depending on the membership level chosen.

Club Membership runs from January 1st to December 31st of each year.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE AN FCC AMATEUR RADIO LICENSE TO BE A CLUB MEMBER.

Joining the club or renewing your membership is a two step process:

  1. Complete the registration form.

  2. Remit your annual dues using the payment form.

  • If 65 or older, dues are $25 per year or $30 for a family.

  • If younger than 65, dues are $30 per year or $35 for a family.  

  • For college students of ANY age, dues are $15 per year per student.

  • For high school and younger licensees that are not under a family membership, dues will be waived.

  • Those earning an initial license in one of our VE test sessions are automatically invited into the Club and receive the balance of that year's membership for free.

  • A Lifetime Membership is available for $350. It is only available for an individual membership.
